The Irvine Police Department (IPD) arrested 6 suspects believed to be linked to a professional residential burglary crime ring.
Over the last year, a crew has been responsible for more than 10 residential burglaries in different neighborhoods throughout Irvine.
Through extensive surveillance and evidence gathering, detectives identified the suspects involved. Yesterday, IPD conducted arrest operations in Bellflower, Huntington Beach, and Los Angeles.
“We are dedicated to the safety of our community,” said Police Chief Michael Kent. “This successful investigation sends a clear message to all that crime will not be tolerated here. We have the technology, resources, and expertise to find those who commit crimes in Irvine and ensure that they are held accountable.”
Suspects arrested on burglary and conspiracy charges:
- Darlyn Alejandra Acosta Serrano, 32, Huntington Beach
- Andres Zarate, 32, Bellflower
- Juvenile female, 17, Huntington Beach
- Juvenile male, 17, Los Angeles
- Juvenile male, 17, Los Angeles
- Juvenile male, 17, Los Angeles
