The Public Information Unit serves as the primary point of contact for the news media. The unit delivers timely, accurate, and transparent information through press releases, on-camera interviews, media briefings, social media, and outreach efforts. The unit plays a vital role in building and maintaining trust by keeping residents well-informed and engaged.

IMPORTANT—For police services or assistance, please call (949) 724-7000. The Public Information Unit serves as the department’s media contact but does not handle general community inquiries or the release of police reports.
